Friday Fill-In's #99

1. The last band I saw live was 54-40, and they kicked ass!
2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is spending time with my family. (if you don't celebrate thanksgiving, insert your favorite holiday)
3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is meagerly started.
4. Thoughts of PTO agendas fill my head.
5. I wish I could wear a corset...(cause it's easier than getting some kinda plastic surgery for one event like pictures)
6. Bagpipes are so sad.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Playing with the boys and melting my eyeballs with Rollercoaster Tycoon, tomorrow my plans include pulling popcorn duty in my husband's stead (Cub Scouts orders are in and need to be picked up) and Sunday, I want to sleep in!

A corset huh? They still sell them if you really want to.
Sleeping in Sunday sounds like a good plan (and a good idea for me too). Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. This weekend doesn't happen too often so for that I'm very grateful.

And I'm with you, I wish I could totally pull off a corset!

you are kidding about the corset surely.

I am wondering about 'popcorn duty' - is this at a rec center where the kids play ball?

have a wonderful weekend - looks beautiful from here...

thanks for stopping by!

Hi, clicked over from Dogs and Jeans when I saw you've never had rice pudding. It is so easy and so good!
Put one quart of fatty milk (it just tastes better, but you could use skim) in a crock pot with 1/2 cup of white rice and 1/2 cup of sugar. Cook on high for 2-3 hours, then add six (raw) scrambled eggs, some vanilla, some nutmeg (if you're a nutmeg person)and 1/2 cup raisins or craisins. Let that cook for another half hour to an hour. And then it's done.

Easy and yummy. Warm or cold.

And you want to wear a corset? Sounds painful. Good luck!

I have always found corsets to be painful. I guess I need to lose weight then try to wear them!

Have a great weekend.

I'm with you on the bagpipes :-) And I have thoroughly enjoyed my Boy Scouts popcorn, thank you very much. My thighs, however, hate you for it.

Thanks for visiting!

Sounds busy - hope you got to sleep in today! Forget the corset, try one of those 'shapez' camisoles.
